Volleyball demands speed, power and endurance, with repeated jumps, sprints and explosive movements throughout training and competition. For Icelandic Premier League player Thelma Dögg Grétarsdóttir, recovery is an important part of being ready to do it all again. Unbroken has become part of that routine from morning through training and beyond.
Recovery that carries into the next day
For Thelma, the difference she associates with Unbroken isn't limited to how she feels immediately after training.
She says she noticed changes from the beginning, particularly in her recovery, energy throughout the day and how she felt when she woke up the following morning.
“Unbroken has made a big difference in my performance and recovery.”
That matters when training and competition follow one another and the body repeatedly needs to be ready to perform.
Feeling the difference in training
Volleyball combines short bursts of explosive effort with the endurance to maintain that intensity throughout a session or match.
For Thelma, one of the differences she associates with using Unbroken regularly is how she feels during training.
“I notice a real difference in my endurance during training.”
She also says her body feels like it recovers faster after exercise, helping her feel ready for the demands of the next session.
From morning to recovery
Unbroken isn't something Thelma saves only for after training.
She takes between two and four tablets throughout the day, starting in the morning and then incorporating Unbroken during and immediately after exercise.
“I take 2–4 tablets daily, always one in the morning, then during and right after exercise.”
She is so consistent with the routine that she keeps track of her daily intake on her phone.
That regularity has made Unbroken part of the rhythm of training, recovery and preparing to go again.
More than the game
Perhaps the most interesting part of Thelma's experience is that she doesn't describe the difference only in terms of sport.
“It has not only changed my game but also how I feel each morning.”
For an athlete balancing repeated training and competition, recovery extends beyond what happens immediately after the final point. It is also about how you feel later that day and when you wake up ready to start again.
For Thelma, Unbroken has become part of that cycle.
Train. Play. Recover. Go again.
