Ready for the next session

Ready for the next session

Sara Sigmundsdottir knows what it takes to compete at the highest level of CrossFit. Multiple training sessions, high-volume competition days and the constant demand to perform again put recovery at the center of her routine. For Sara, Unbroken became part of what helped her feel fresher and ready to go again.

Competing at the highest level

At the highest level of CrossFit, one workout is rarely the end of the day.

For Sara, competing at events such as the CrossFit Games and Rogue Invitational meant repeatedly asking her body to perform, recover and perform again. The same challenge existed in training, where a demanding morning session could be followed by another hard session later in the day.

That made what happened between sessions increasingly important.

From skeptical to hooked

Sara admits that she wasn't immediately convinced by Unbroken.

“Before I started using Unbroken, I was skeptical. I'd heard so many amazing things about it that I thought nothing could work that well. But after trying it, I was completely hooked.”

What changed her mind was how she felt when she incorporated it into her training routine.

“I feel a huge difference with Unbroken, especially during training. Taking a tablet between sessions became essential for me.”

For an athlete training more than once a day, feeling ready for the next session mattered.

Fresher between workouts

During competition, Unbroken became part of Sara's routine throughout the day.

She particularly remembers the difference during demanding multi-event competitions, when athletes have to recover quickly before being asked to perform again.

“I remember feeling fresher than ever, even when others around me were exhausted. It kept me feeling strong and ready for each challenge.”

That feeling carried over into her everyday training.

When the second session feels stronger

For Sara, one of the biggest differences was what happened later in the day.

Before using Unbroken, she says she would sometimes worry about her second training session because she already felt drained from the morning.

“With Unbroken, my second session often felt even stronger because I could recover better.”

That ability to come back ready to train again helped Sara handle the volume required at the highest level of her sport.

“The biggest benefit was how it helped me push myself further, allowing me to add more volume and recover faster.”

Part of the routine

Sara also values how simple Unbroken is to incorporate into a demanding day.

She drinks a lot of water, so the effervescent format fitted naturally into her routine. Whether she was training or competing, it gave her an easy way to incorporate amino acid nutrition between sessions without feeling heavy.

For Sara, what began with skepticism became something she relied on when the demands were highest.

“Taking a tablet between sessions became essential for me.”

Train. Recover. Be ready to go again.
