Competing at the highest level

CrossFit Oslo has built a reputation for competing among the world's best. At that level, training is demanding, margins are small and the ability to come back ready for another high-intensity session matters. In the build-up to the CrossFit Games, Unbroken became part of the team's approach to recovery.

Built for competition

CrossFit Oslo has a long history of developing athletes and teams capable of competing at the highest level of the sport.

CrossFit Oslo Navy Blue was one of its leading teams, earning its place among the world's best and taking on the ultimate test of fitness at the CrossFit Games.

Reaching that level requires more than performing on competition day. It means months of demanding training, repeated high-intensity sessions and the consistency to keep showing up ready to work.

Preparing for the CrossFit Games

In the build-up to the 2023 CrossFit Games, CrossFit Oslo Navy Blue incorporated Unbroken into its routine.

For the team, the difference was particularly noticeable when training volume and intensity increased.

“In the build up to the CrossFit Games, Unbroken helped us continue at high intensities and longer durations, with less muscle soreness.”

The ability to maintain training quality mattered. When athletes are preparing for a competition as demanding as the CrossFit Games, each session has to build toward the next rather than compromise it.

Less soreness. More quality training.

CrossFit demands strength, endurance, power and skill, often within the same training day. The challenge isn't simply completing the work. It's recovering well enough to do it again.

For CrossFit Oslo Navy Blue, experiencing less muscle soreness helped support the consistency required during their preparation.

“Unbroken gives us an edge in recovery to enhance our performance.”

It is a simple statement, but one that captures why recovery matters so much at this level. Better training isn't only about pushing harder. It's about being ready to keep pushing, session after session.

Ready to compete

At the highest level, there are very few easy days and very few opportunities to leave performance on the table.

For CrossFit Oslo, Unbroken became part of the routine supporting the team through the demands of training and preparation for one of the biggest stages in the sport.

Train hard. Recover. Be ready to go again.
